Dance doesn't always happen inside the studio. Throughout the year, Martelle Dance Academy may have opportunities to perform at special events, travel to new places, and share their love of dance with audiences throughout the region .

At Martelle Dance Academy, we believe performing is an important part of a dancer's journey. Special performance opportunities allow our dancers to experience new environments, work together as a team, and discover the excitement of sharing their talents with a live audience. From local community events to exciting experiences beyond Wellsville, these opportunities give dancers memories they'll carry with them long after the music stops.
Perform at Special Events
Dance takes our students beyond the studio and into the community. Throughout the year, our dancers may be invited to perform at special events and celebrations, giving them the opportunity to experience new audiences and exciting stages. We have participated in many community parades including the Wellsville Balloon Rally Parade, Annual Christmas Parade presented by the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce, Andover Parade, Firemen’s Convention Parade, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Big Stages. Big Experiences.
Our dancers have had the opportunity to perform at exciting events, including a NASCAR race at Watkins Glen International Raceway on 4 different occasions, and a Buffalo Bisons baseball game. Experiences like these allow dancers to step outside their comfort zones and discover just how far their passion for dance can take them.
Take Dance on the Road
Performance trips give dancers the chance to experience new places, perform in new environments, and make memories together outside the studio. Every trip becomes part of the journey, and part of the story they'll carry with them. Our dancers have had the opportunity to travel to New York City to perform with Dance the World Broadway on a Broadway stage and in Times Square. Our Arc Angels dance team also traveled to New York City to dance with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall!
